Pyramid Wilmar Strengthens Quality Assurance with Advanced 3MPCDE/GE Testing Facility at Pyramid Lanka, our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction drives continuous investment in technologies that enhance our operations and create greater value for our customers. In line with this commitment, we are proud to announce the commissioning of the inhouse 3MPCDE/GE analysis, an advanced testing instrument sourced from the United States, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of the quality of our edible oil refining.
Representing a substantial capital investment by Pyramid Wilmar, the 3MPCDE/GE is the first testing facility of its kind within Sri Lanka’s private sector. Installed to enhance the quality of edible oil refining, this state-of-the-art technology strengthens our ability to conduct comprehensive in-house testing and monitoring, enabling greater control over product quality and food safety, operational efficiency, and process performance. Prior to this investment, specialized samples had to be sent to overseas laboratories for analysis, resulting in turnaround times of approximately 4–6 weeks. With the commissioning of the 3MPCDE/GE analysis, testing can now be conducted internally, with results available within just 6–7 hours. This significant reduction in testing time allows for faster decision-making, more efficient monitoring, and improved responsiveness throughout the production process.
Beyond enhancing operational efficiency, the facility plays a vital role in supporting the development of customized solutions for corporate customers.
