Recipe: Love Cake
Ingredients
- 250g Semolina
- Lime peel (of 02 limes)
- 125g MeadowLea
- 75g Puhul Dosi (Pumpkin Preserve)
- 125g Cashew
- 05 Egg Yolks
- 02 Egg whites (beaten)
- 600g Sugar
- 01 teaspoon of Rose Essence
- 1½ teaspoon pf Vanilla Essence
- 1 teaspoon of Almond Essence
Cooking Method
- First, fry the Semolina on medium heat till it turns light brown.
- Next, add the lemon peel and MeadowLea to it and mix well.
- Add the Puhul Dosi, cashews, rose essence and mix well. Let this mixture rest for 02 days.
- Beat 05 egg yolks well and add the sugar, vanilla and almond essence to it and beat well.
- Mix this egg mixture with the previously prepared Semolina mixture. Add the beaten egg whites to this.
- Finally, pour the mixture in a baking tray and bake at 150⁰C for 40 – 45 minutes.
