Recipe: Gnanakatha

Ingredients

  1. 100g Wheat Flour
  2. 50g Icing Sugar
  3. 75g MeadowLea Fat Spread
  4. ½ teaspoon Salt
  5. ½ teaspoon Vanilla
  6. Powder of 4 Cardamom pieces
  7. 1½ tablespoons Sugar for the topping

Cooking Method

  • Take a pan, put it on the stove and put some MeadowLea in it and let it melt. Sift the wheat flour and baking powder together using a sieve.
  • Then add some salt, cardamom and icing sugar to it.
  • Add the vanilla to the melted MeadowLea mixture, and mix it well with the flour mixture and form into a ball. Next, break the dough into pieces and make small balls.
  • Flatten the small dough balls and spread them in sugar. Place them on a baking tray and bake them at 160⁰C for 15 minutes.
