Recipe: Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- 250 g Wheat Flour
- 250 g Sugar
- 250 g MeadowLea Fat Spread
- 05 Eggs
- 02 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 02 teaspoons Coffee Powder (mixed with a bit of hot water)
- 02 teaspoons Baking Soda
- ½ cup Fresh Milk
For Icing
- 100 g MeadowLea Fat Spread
- 01 cup Icing Sugar
- 01 teaspoon of coffee mixed with salt water
Cooking Method
- Mix MeadowLea and sugar well for about 10 minutes. Add the eggs from time to time and mix well.
- Sift the wheat flour and baking powder together using a sieve. Next, add milk, coffee powder and wheat flour to the MeadowLea mixture.
- Put the well-mixed batter into a baking tray and bake it at 180⁰C for 30 minutes.
- For the icing, put the required ingredients in a bowl and beat them together. Ice the cake in a design of your choice, cut into pieces and serve.
