Recipe: Fish Patties
Ingredients
Ingredients for the batter:
- 01 Egg Yolk
- 05 tablespoons Cold Water
- 235 g Flour
- 01 teaspoon Salt
- 100 g MeadowLea
Ingredients for the fish mixture:
- 02 teaspoons Wild Turmeric Powder
- 02 teaspoons Pepper Powder
- 01 teaspoon Chilli Powder
- 01 teaspoon Salt
- 8 – 10 curry leaves
- Pandan Leaves (Rampe)
- 03 finely-chopped Garlic Cloves
- 01 finely-chopped Red Onions
- 350 g boiled and mashed Potato
- 250 g crushed Tuna
- 02 tablespoons Coconut Oil
Cooking Method
- Add flour, salt, egg yolks and MeadowLea and mix well. Add 3-4 tablespoons of cold water to it and knead it well. Put the dough in a bowl, keep it tightly closed and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
- Take a saucepan, heat the oil on low flame, add garlic, red onions, pandan leaves (rampe), curry leaves, and curry powder to it and mix well. Then add chilli powder, fish, carrot, green chillie and potatoes and season with salt to taste and mix well.
- Separate the prepared dough into two parts and thin out one part using a rolling pin.
- Cut the thinned dough into circles, put some of the mixture in the middle of the circles and fold them in half. Then use a fork around its corners to shape and also seal it.
- Finally, take a saucepan, put oil in it, let it heat and fry the patties till it turns golden.
