Recipe: Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  1. 250 g Wheat Flour
  2. 250 g Sugar
  3. 250 g MeadowLea Fat Spread
  4. 05 Eggs
  5. 02 teaspoons Baking Powder
  6. 02 teaspoons Coffee Powder (mixed with a bit of hot water)
  7. 02 teaspoons Baking Soda
  8. ½ cup Fresh Milk

For Icing

  1. 100 g MeadowLea Fat Spread
  2. 01 cup Icing Sugar
  3. 01 teaspoon of coffee mixed with salt water

Cooking Method

  • Mix MeadowLea and sugar well for about 10 minutes. Add the eggs from time to time and mix well.
  • Sift the wheat flour and baking powder together using a sieve. Next, add milk, coffee powder and wheat flour to the MeadowLea mixture.
  • Put the well-mixed batter into a baking tray and bake it at 180⁰C for 30 minutes.
  • For the icing, put the required ingredients in a bowl and beat them together. Ice the cake in a design of your choice, cut into pieces and serve.
