Recipe: Love Cake

Ingredients

  1. 250g Semolina
  2. Lime peel (of 02 limes)
  3. 125g MeadowLea
  4. 75g Puhul Dosi (Pumpkin Preserve)
  5. 125g Cashew
  6. 05 Egg Yolks
  7. 02 Egg whites (beaten)
  8. 600g Sugar
  9. 01 teaspoon of Rose Essence
  10. 1½ teaspoon pf Vanilla Essence
  11. 1 teaspoon of Almond Essence

Cooking Method

  • First, fry the Semolina on medium heat till it turns light brown.
  • Next, add the lemon peel and MeadowLea to it and mix well.
  • Add the Puhul Dosi, cashews, rose essence and mix well. Let this mixture rest for 02 days.
  • Beat 05 egg yolks well and add the sugar, vanilla and almond essence to it and beat well.
  • Mix this egg mixture with the previously prepared Semolina mixture. Add the beaten egg whites to this.
  • Finally, pour the mixture in a baking tray and bake at 150⁰C for 40 – 45 minutes.
